This 1993 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R is #72 of 107 built during the final year of production for the Fox-body Mustang.

Finished in Vibrant Red Clearcoat over Opal Grey cloth and vinyl upholstery, the car is powered by a 302ci V8 linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a dealer-modified 3.73:1 limited-slip differential.

The car is equipped with the Competition Package, which added upgraded front and rear disc brakes, heavy-duty suspension components, a front strut-tower brace, and an aluminum radiator along with oil and power steering coolers.

Additional equipment includes 17″ tri-spoke alloy wheels, dual exhaust outlets, a rear spoiler, and a heater.

Engine modifications in 2013 have included an increased compression ratio, a balanced rotating assembly, and a multi-angle competition valve grind in addition to the installation of SpinTech mufflers.

Every Cobra R was finished in Vibrant Red and could be distinguished by black wheels, a rubber antenna cover on the passenger-side fender, and the absence of fog lights.

Additional equipment includes a rear spoiler, Cobra badging, and polished dual exhaust tips.

Black-finished five 17″ tri-spoke cast aluminum wheels wear chrome Mustang-branded center caps and are mounted with 245/45 Nitto NT01 tires.

R models featured revised suspension tuning with a larger-diameter front stabilizer bar, a front strut-tower brace, upgraded front and rear springs, and heavy-duty front struts and rear shocks.

Hydraulic power steering was standard equipment, and a power steering cooler was added as part of the R Competition Package, which also featured upgraded disc brakes at all four corners.

The car has been modified with Maximum Motorsports rear lower control arms.

The interior features Opal Grey cloth and vinyl upholstery with color-coordinated carpets and interior trim.

Cobra R models were not equipped with rear seats and have carpeting in their place, and further weight-saving measures from the factory included omission of the sound insulation, air conditioning, power windows and locks, and the audio system.

Modifications include a dealer-installed six-point roll cage, R.J.S. Racing Equipment five-point safety harnesses, and a motorsports shifter.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,900-rpm redline as well as gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level, while AutoMeter gauges for boost and fuel pressure are mounted to the A-pillar.

The five-digit odometer shows 2,500 miles.
