This 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 features brushed stainless steel bodywork over black leather upholstery and is powered by a twin-turbocharged 2.85-liter V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle.

The rear-mounted 2.85-liter V6 was jointly developed by Peugeot, Renault, and Volvo and features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection. Island Turbo installed a twin-turbocharger kit that features IHI turbochargers.

The DeLorean's engine is a 2.85 L (174 cu in) SOHC Peugeot-Renault-Volvo (PRV) V6 engine. The U.S. federally–tuned, catalyst-equipped DeLorean engine is derated to 130 hp (132 PS; 97 kW) at 5,500 rpm and torque of 153 lb⋅ft (207 N⋅m) at 2,750 rpm.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle.

Features include a front spoiler, a louvered engine cover, counter-balanced gullwing doors, quad halogen headlamps, and gray urethane bumper caps.

Turbine-style wheels measure 14″ in diameter up front and 15″ out back and are mounted with Kuhmo Solus KR21 tires.

The car features an independent suspension and four-wheel disc brakes.

The bucket seats, dashboard, center console, and door panels are upholstered in black leather.

Amenities include air conditioning, power windows, central locking, a tilting and telescoping steering column, power-adjustable side mirrors, a fire extinguisher, and an aftermarket Sony head unit with a Crossfire amplifier and Alpine speakers.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level.

The five-digit odometer shows 34k miles.
