Work consisted of fitting backdated bodywork and repainting the body in white, refreshing the cabin, and installing an E-ROD 6.2-liter LS3 V8 paired with a TKO five-speed manual transmission and an 8.5″ rear differential. Additional equipment includes 16″ VTO wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a shaker hood, front and rear spoilers, a custom 2½” exhaust system, Corvette front bucket leather seats, a Vintage Air climate control system, a Hurst shifter, Speedhut gauges, and a RetroSound Hermosa head unit.

The factory 403ci V8 was replaced with a GM Performance E-ROD 6.2-liter LS3 V8. Additional equipment includes a functional Scarebird custom air box, a rear-mounted battery, an OBD2 port, and a custom exhaust system with four catalytic converters, an X-pipe, Jones resonators, and a crossflow rear muffler.

The vehicle’s weight is 3,300 pounds.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO600 five-speed manual transmission with an 0.81″ OD, an aluminum Shaftmasters driveshaft, and Detroit Truetrac helical 3.08 limited-slip differential.

The body was stripped to a bare shell and fitted with a replacement tail pan, lower quarter panels, and corners as well as replacement rear bumper bracing and a nose section sourced from a 1971 Firebird.

It was then repainted in Cameo White by Aldercrest Auto Rebuild and applied with Tyrol Blue vinyl stripes sourced from 165th.

Additional equipment includes a functional shaker hood, front and rear spoilers, front-fender air vents, and dual exhaust outlets exiting below the rear bodywork.

Aftermarket 16×7″ VTO wheels are wrapped in Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires sized 225/60.

The chassis is fitted with Koni front and Bilstein rear shocks along with rear Hypercoil composite leaf springs, hollow front and rear sway bars, and a Delphi 600 power-assisted steering box.

Braking is handled by manual four-wheel disc with front 1LE and rear Scarebird discs.

The cabin features manually-adjustable black leather bucket seats sourced from a 1996 Corvette as well as Legendary black vinyl rear seats and door panels.

A replacement OER dashboard has also been installed with a Randy Combs refurbished factory instrument panel, and additional equipment includes a Hurst shifter, a Vintage Air climate control system, a fire extinguisher, Ames Performance three-point seatbelts, and an aftermarket RetroSound Hermosa radio with Bluetooth capability.

The three-spoke Formula steering wheel sits ahead of an engine-turned dash fascia.

Custom Speedhut instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, supplementary gauges, and a 6k-rpm tachometer.

The digital odometer shows 9k miles, and the true mileage is unknown.
