This 1970 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am was subsequently modified with work consisting of stripping and refinishing the body as well as installing a 462ci V8, Richmond five-speed manual transmission, 12-bolt rear axle, and replacement suspension, interior, and brake components. The car is finished in Polar White over black and blue upholstery and features an airbrushed stripe and logos, power steering, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, 17″ American Racing wheels, Global West springs and subframe connectors, Koni shock absorbers, an Accel fuel injection system and electronic ignition, and Edelbrock cylinder heads. Interior equipment includes air conditioning, a Hurst T-handle shifter, power windows, an Eclipse CD stereo, and an Arc Audio subwoofer, amplifier, and speakers.

The replacement 462ci V8 features an Accel fuel injection system and electronic ignition, a Tomahawk intake manifold, a Butler Performance roller camshaft, a Holley electric fuel pump, a March serpentine drive system, a custom aluminum radiator with dual Flex-A-Lite electric fans, and Edelbrock cylinder heads.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Richmond five-speed manual transmission, a dual-disc Centerforce clutch, and a 12-bolt rear axle with a limited-slip differential and 3.08:1 gears. A Pypes 3″ dual exhaust system with an X-pipe and turbo-style mufflers has been installed.

The car was refinished in Polar White. Features include an airbrushed stripe and logos, a shaker hood, fender vents, a rear spoiler, custom clear mud flaps, dual sport mirrors, a shaved trunk keyhole, and a dual-outlet exhaust that exits below the chrome rear bumper.

The 17″ American Racing wheels feature gray centers and polished lips and are mounted with 245/45 front and 275/40 rear Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires. The car features power steering, Global West springs and subframe connectors, and Koni shock absorbers. Braking is handled by power-assisted Wilwood discs at all four corners.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl with blue pleated inserts joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes air conditioning, a center console, a Hurst T-handle shifter, a remote alarm system, power windows, shoulder belts, embroidered seat belt pads, custom-embroidered Trans Am floor mats, and an Eclipse CD stereo. The trunk is upholstered to match the interior and features an upholstered Trans-Am logo, blue neon backlighting, a custom-mounted Arc Audio amplifier, and a Chip Foose subwoofer.

The three-spoke Formula steering wheel frames an engine-turned instrument panel that houses a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an integrated clock as well as gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and battery voltage.

The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 1,265 miles, which represent the mileage since the refurbishment was completed. Total mileage is unknown.
