This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS was built at GM’s Atlanta, Georgia assembly plant. Power is supplied by a 454ci LS6 V8 mated with a Muncie M22 four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction rear end. The car is finished in silver with black stripes over black vinyl upholstery and equipped with a cowl induction hood secured with pins, the F41 Special Performance Suspension package, power-assisted steering and front disc brakes, a center console, bucket seats, and 14” Super Sport-style wheels. A refurbishment been performed over two decades ago.
The 454ci LS6 V8 was factory-rated at 450 horsepower and have been rebuilt during the refurbishment. A replacement wiring harness has been installed. The car is fitted with a smog pump. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Muncie M22 four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear end housing a G80 Positraction differential with 3.31:1 gearing. The trunk floor was replaced during the refurbishment and the frame was powder coated black.

Finished from the factory in Cortez Silver (14), the car have been repainted and fitted with replacement glass. Exterior features include black over-the-top stripes, a cowl induction hood secured with pins, dual exhausts, and SS 454 badging.
Reproduction 14” Super Sport-style wheels are mounted with Goodyear Polyglas white-letter tires. A full-size spare is found in the trunk. Braking is through power-assisted front discs and rear drums, and the car came optioned from the factory with the F41 Special Performance Suspension package.
The cabin houses front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl with a matching dashboard and door panels. Black loop carpets and rubber mats line the floors, and amenities include power steering, a center console, a push-button AM radio, shoulder belts for front occupants, and lap belts for rear occupants.
A four-spoke steering wheel mounted to a tilt column sits ahead of a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary displays.
The five-digit odometer shows approximately 400 miles, though total chassis mileage is unknown.
