This 1966 Pontiac GTO hardtop is powered by a 389ci V8 fitted with triple two-barrel carburetors and paired with a two-speed automatic transmission.

The 389ci V8 has been fitted with a Comp Cams camshaft and is topped by triple two-barrel carburetors, each of which utilizes a foam air cleaner.

The oil was changed and the battery was replaced in preparation for sale.

An auxiliary electric fuel pump has been added.

Power is delivered to the wheels through a two-speed automatic transmission and a 10-bolt rear end with a 3.07:1 final-drive ratio.

The car was delivered new in Candlelite Cream (Y) and was refinished as part of a refurbishment completed in 2009.

The dual exhaust features chrome finishers that terminate below the rear bumper, and other features include a hood scoop, bright lower-body trim, and GTO badging.

Gray-finished 14″ Rally I steel wheels wear trim rings as well as center caps, and they are mounted with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 white-letter tires.

The brakes and steering were power-assisted from the factory, and discs were added up front during the refurbishment.

The black interior was factory fitted with air conditioning and features front bucket seats, a rear bench, a center console, a padded dash, and a Pontiac-branded AM radio.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a woodgrain-trimmed instrument panel housing a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges.

A Pontiac-branded intake manifold vacuum pressure gauge is mounted ahead of the shifter, and Stewart-Warner gauges for oil pressure and water temperature have been installed under the dash.

The five-digit odometer shows just under 19k miles, true mileage is unknown.
