This 1965 MG MGB roadster was refurbished in white over red leather. Power is provided by a 1.8-liter inline-four mated to a four-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes a red soft top, 14″ wire wheels, front disc brakes, a right-front fender mirror, lap belts, a banjo-style steering wheel, a heater, and chrome bumpers with overriders.
The 1.8-liter inline-four was rebuilt and is equipped with twin SU carburetors and an alloy valve cover. Additional work during the refurbishment have included rebuilding the carburetors and replacing the belts, cooling hoses, fuel tank, pump, lines, and clamps. An oil change was performed in preparation for sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. A polished stainless-steel exhaust system was installed during the refurbishment.
A driver’s handbook and service records are included in the sale along with a black tonneau cover, a removable tonneau bar, a top boot, and spare parts.
The car was repainted in white and features a replacement red soft top, a door-mounted mirror on the left, a right-front fender mirror, bright trim, a polished single exhaust outlet, and chrome bumpers with overriders.
Silver 14″ wheels were refinished and are mounted with 165-series Michelin XAS tires. A covered spare is stowed in the trunk. The brake pads, shoes, drums, and hoses have been replaced during the refurbishment.
Replacement bucket seats trimmed in red leather with white piping are joined by color-coordinated door panels and replacement carpeting. Additional details include lap belts, polished MG-branded door sill plates, rubber floor mats, and a heater.
A banjo-style steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges.
The five-digit odometer shows 87k miles.
