This 1965 Buick Riviera is powered by a 425ci Nailhead V8 paired with a retrofitted 200-4R four-speed automatic transmission. Finished in burgundy over black, the car was further modified under previous ownership with 15″ Rally-style wheels, front disc brakes, an aluminum radiator, later-model power-adjustable front seats, custom upholstery, and a Vintage Air climate control system.
The 425ci Nailhead V8 is equipped with an MSD Digital 6AL ignition controller, an aluminum radiator, finned valve covers, and an open-element Edelbrock air cleaner. The battery has been relocated to the trunk. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a retrofitted 200-4R four-speed automatic transmission.
The car was factory-finished in Silver Cloud and was repainted burgundy. The stacked headlights are hidden behind clamshell-style covers, and additional equipment includes an aftermarket grille, a power antenna, dual side mirrors, and Gran Sport badging.
Rally-style 15” wheels are mounted with 225/75 American Classic whitewall tires. Power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes are fitted along with power steering. The control arm bushings were replaced in preparation for the sale after which an alignment was performed.
The interior has been retrimmed in black upholstery that also lines the door panels and dash top. Replacement power-adjustable front seats are fitted along with burl woodgrain trim, an AM radio, power windows, and Vintage Air climate control.
A wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and warning lights.
The five-digit odometer shows 10k miles, TMU.
