Finished in Rosewood Metallic over Mauve leather and cloth upholstery, the car is powered by a 413ci V8 paired with a pushbutton three-speed automatic transmission.
Service performed during the last year has included replacement of the exhaust system, an overhaul of the air conditioning system, and refreshes of the brake system, rear end, and fuel system.
The 413ci OHV V8 is topped with a four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 340 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.
Recommissioning work have included replacement of the fuel pump, a fuel-system cleaning, addressing of leaks at the valve covers and oil pan gasket, replacement of cooling hoses, a coolant flush, and an oil change.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed TorqueFlite automatic.
The rear axle unit was disassembled, cleaned, and fitted with new seals, bearings, and gaskets.
A replacement dual exhaust system was also installed during the recommissioning.
The LeBaron trim level was offered only as a four-door pillarless sedan, and styling cues feature a small rear window, a split grille with inset quad headlights, a simulated spare tire bulge at the rear of the trunk lid, and horizontal spear-shaped taillight assemblies flanking a central eagle-logo fuel-filler cap.
This example is finished in Rosewood, and the passenger side was repainted below the beltline in June 2022 to correct a previously touched up area on one of the doors.
The 15” steel wheels wear stainless-steel covers and are mounted with Grenadier SE whitewall tires.
Stopping is handled by power-assisted drum brakes that were refreshed with the replacement of the wheel cylinders, hoses, and rear shoes.
Power-assisted steering was standard across the Imperial lineup.
The cabin is trimmed in Mauve leather with tufted cloth inserts on the front and rear bench seats, which are equipped with fold-down center armrests.
Areas of discoloration and creasing are exhibited on the leather portion of the seat surfaces.
Additional features include color-matched carpeting, wood inlays on the door panels and seat frames, six-way power front seat adjustment, power windows, dual reading lights in the rear pillars, pockets on the back of the front seat, a pushbutton radio, and air conditioning with separate units for the front and rear.
The latter system was overhauled and converted to R134 in 2022.
The two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a ribbon-style 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and drum-style auxiliary gauges.
The five-digit odometer shows 53k miles, tmu.
