This 1959 MGA Twin Cam roadster is a North American–market example that is finished in black over red. Power comes from a 1,588cc twin-cam inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a black soft top, 15″ knock-off steel wheels, a heater, and a Motorola radio. A total of 1,788 Twin Cam roadsters were produced over a two-year production run.

The 1,588cc inline-four features dual overhead camshafts and sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.

The engine have been rebuilt by Connell’s MG Service, an oil change was carried out in preparation for sale.

The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate details equipment, colors, and production information as well as a build date in March 1959.

This example was originally ordered in black, and the body has been refinished.

Features include a black soft top and a matching tonneau cover, “Twin Cam” badging on the trunk lid and outside of the hood, and a chrome-finished front grille, trim, and bumpers with overriders.

Silver-finished 15″ steel wheels are held in place with two-eared knock-off hubs and are mounted with 165-section Vredestein Sprint Classic tires.

Braking is handled by four-wheel Dunlop discs.

The interior features Deluxe seats trimmed in red with matching door panels, dash pad, and black carpeting.

Other amenities include a heater, latch-and-link lap belts, and a Motorola radio.

A banjo-style steering wheel fronts an upholstered dashboard that houses Jaeger instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer, a 7,500-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges.

The five-digit odometer indicates 5k miles, actual chassis mileage is unknown.
