This 1959 Austin-Healey Sprite is finished in white over a reupholstered red interior.Power is provided by a rebuilt 948 cc inline-four mated to rebuilt 4-speed manual gearbox featuring new synchromesh.The 948 cc A-series inline-four engine was over-bored by 0.04″ when the the previous owner reportedly rebuilt the engine.JET Motors converted the intake to a new single 1.75″ SU HIF44 carburetor using an alloy manifold and new throttle cable.A PerTronix Flame Thrower distributor was fitted with Ignitor II electronic conversion which connects to a Flame Thrower HV 60 ignition coil.New NGK spark plugs and new wires were installed. An oil change was done in preparation for sale.This Mark 1 Sprite recently received a new SU carburetor and Pertronix electronic ignition system.The 4-speed manual gearbox was rebuilt in September 2021 with new a new first gear, synchromesh, bearings, and gaskets.The white exterior has been refinished and features a center red stripe.The rear bumper guards are finished in matching red and a polished luggage rack is fitted to the rear deck.The driver’s side view mirror is mounted to the front wing and the windshield was replaced in November 2021.The new black convertible top and side curtains were provided by Moss Motors and were installed by Guy’s Interior Restoration in November 2021.13″ wheels are fitted with polished Austin Healey hub caps and are mounted with Hankook tires.The red interior was also redone by Guy’s Interiors who fitted new door panels, carpet, and reupholstered the bucket seats.The Austin Healey Sprite emblem is featured on the wood shift knob and the leather-wrapped 3-spoke Lecarra steering wheel.The Smiths tachometer and speedometer were repaired by Speedometer Service and the Stewart Warner amp gauge was tested and cleaned.Only 75,472 miles and shown on the 5-digit odometer.
