This 1957 Chevrolet Corvette is one of approximately 700 examples produced for the model year with a fuel-injected 283ci V8 and a four-speed manual transmission. The vehicle was restored in the 1990s, finished in Venetian Red with beige coves, the car is equipped with a red interior, RetroSound radio, and BFGoodrich whitewall tires. The Rochester fuel-injection system was rebuilt within the last few months, and the ignition coil, wiper motor, brake fluid, and engine oil were also replaced.
The EL-code 283ci V8 was equipped from the factory with Rochester mechanical fuel injection and rated for 283 horsepower.
This engine was resealed and refinished by Corvette specialist Don Baker in the early-2000s.
The fuel-injection system was removed and sent to Ken Hansen for a rebuild.
A new ignition coil and intake manifold gaskets were recently installed, and the seller also adjusted the timing and changed the oil.

A matching spare wheel with a BFGoodrich Silvertown tire is stored below the trunk floor, along with a factory jack.
New wheel bearings, wheel cylinders, and a brake master cylinder were installed in preparation for sale, and the drums were also turned at that time.
