This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Nomad was refurbished in 2011.The car is finished in black over gray upholstery and powered by a 383ci Chevrolet V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes a custom dual exhaust system, 15″ wheels, adjustable coilovers, and four-wheel disc brakes in addition to an MSD ignition system, power steering, Classic Instruments gauges, and a custom stereo system. Fluids were serviced in preparation for sale.
The 383ci stroker V8 is equipped with a roller camshaft and rocker arms.
Additional equipment includes an Edelbrock intake manifold, a carbon-style air cleaner cover, a Be Cool four-core aluminum radiator, electric fans, MSD ignition components, and a custom exhaust system with Doug Thorley headers, 3″ piping with a center X-pipe, and MagnaFlow mufflers.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a GM 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission and a Positraction Ford 9″ rear end.
The body was removed from the frame and placed on a rolling jig before metal work was performed.
A repaint in Onyx Black was then completed using BASF Glasurit products.
Equipment includes gold anodized trim and ribbed-aluminum tail-fin inserts as well as a sloped B-pillar, sliding rear side windows, and a hidden fuel filler incorporated into the driver-side tail-fin trim.
Steel 15″ Rally-style wheels wear Chevrolet-branded hub caps and are wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
The car is equipped with power steering as well as adjustable coilovers at all four corners.
Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs.
The front and rear bench seats have been reupholstered in gray with light gray cloth inserts.
Replacement black carpets have also been added, and features include a custom center console, lap belts, and a Pioneer head unit with hidden speakers.
The three-spoke steering wheel on a tilting column fronts a Classic Instruments 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level.
The five-digit odometer indicates under 7k miles, true mileage is unknown.
