A 6.0-liter V8 paired with Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission were installed, rust repairs were performed and the exterior was refinished in two-tone silver and black, the interior was reupholstered with red vinyl and matching carpets, and the brake and suspension systems were overhauled.
The 6.0-liter LY6 V8, which was subsequently modified with a COMP Cams performance camshaft and valve springs, upgraded rocker trunnions, an LS3 intake, and a Meziere aluminum radiator.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission sourced from a 2001 Camaro and fitted with Corvette Z06 internals and a replacement clutch.
Rust repairs were made to the fenders during the refurbishment, and a one-piece replacement floor was also welded into place.
The exterior was subsequently refinished in two-tone black and silver with chrome bumpers and trim.
Center Line wheels with a polished finish measure 18″ up front and 20″ out back and are wrapped in 225/45 BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2 tires and 295/45 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A tires, respectively.
Power steering is equipped, and braking is provided by Corvette-sourced components up front and Wilwood components out back, along with a Wilwood master cylinder.
The front suspension has been fitted with Classic Performance Products tubular control arms and a Speedway Engineering sway bar, while the rear has been modified with an Art Morrison triangulated four-bar with Strange Engineering coilovers.
The suspension components were powder-coated black during the refurbishment.
The interior was re-trimmed in red vinyl by Ciadella’s Interiors and features a red-painted dash and matching carpets and floor mats.
Appointments include front bucket seats said to be sourced from a 1965 Impala SS, lap belts, a Hurst shifter, roll-down rear windows sourced from a 210 model, and a Kenwood stereo connected to speakers mounted in the rear cargo area.
An aftermarket steering wheel fronts replacement instrumentation that includes a 140-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer, along with gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level.
The six-digit odometer shows just under 200 miles, with total chassis mileage unknown.
